At our dental practice, Dr. Marlin brings to each patient a detailed consultative approach that will redefine your expectations of cosmetic and restorative dental care.
No matter what services you need for your cosmetic dentistry, you can be sure that you will be well informed and cared for in our office. At your consultation, Dr. Marlin will review your specific problems and/or desired treatment, your treatment options, and where applicable, will show you a model of the anticipated esthetic and functional result. Our approach is to treat each patient with the care and sensitivity that he or she deserves, while, at the same time, educating him or her about the necessary procedure(s).
The following two stages regarding our approach to your One-on-One Personal Consultation highlight just how personalized your care will be, and how you will be well informed prior to beginning treatment. Since all of our temporary crowns are uniquely fabricated in our in-house laboratory (not by a commercial laboratory), you will be able to see your anticipated esthetics and function, prior to undergoing therapy.
At Your Consultation Visit:
Stage 1: What Are Your Problems and Desires?
You will meet, personally, with Dr. Marlin to discuss your care in a one-on-one consultation at our office. First, Dr. Marlin will discuss the problems that you have along with your desired treatment, and will demonstrate them by using your chartings, models, X-rays, digital images, and, where applicable, 3D Cone Beam images. From this first part of your consultation, you will have a good understanding of your problems and the potential results from treatment.
Stage 2: How We Can Help You
Once your problems have been demonstrated, Dr. Marlin will present your treatment options to you, along with an explanation of those treatments at a level that you will be able to understand and visualize. You can ask questions, have procedures clarified, and ensure that you will be comfortable with any work that will be performed. In addition, for those cosmetic procedures, he will have his in-house lab create a custom wax-up of your anticipated crowns in order for you to see the before and after visual representation of your mouth and smile.
Dr. Marlin will sit with you to discuss the end result and how those changes will affect your mouth, smile, and overall health and appearance. This will enable you to see for yourself what your smile will look like when the procedure is finished.
Overall, the care and sensitivity with which Dr. Marlin approaches his patients and the level of detail he provides when outlining the treatment options and procedure is an approach that is unparalleled in the field of cosmetic dentistry. When you visit or call our office to set up your consultation, and when you begin the process to restore your beautiful smile again, you will be richly rewarded with the results.
